If you are visiting the medieval villages of Mani make sure to stop by
Lo-ka-lee (means the local in Greek slang) an artistic shop in a traditional stone building in Kardamyli.
Created by Ioli Tsolka who fell in love with the village of Kardamyli and left behind the hustle and bustle of Athens in 2016. The idea was a spot with a warm atmosphere that feels more like a "home" than a shop. The artistic side of the owner is reflected everywhere.
You will encounter a mix and match of vintage and contemporary objects such as t-shirts, hats, tote bags, books, children's clothing, albums, vinyl records, tourist posters, postcards, paintings, utensils and many more decorative items.
Here, memorabilia, art and freedom of expression find shelter in order to highlight all the quality of the traditional and contemporary artistic side of Greece and it's creative people.
