Villa Vager Mani is the newest boutique hotel opening in the southern Peloponnese, Greece. Is a hotel which offers style, personal service, luxury and warm hospitality by its owners Marina and Nikolas Vager. The hotel has four suites all individually decorated reflecting Marina Vager’s individual panache which developed through her travels and her work as an interior designer.
Built on a soaring olive-crowned hill above the village of Megali Mantinia, the hotel commands spectacular views of the Gulf of Messinia, the mountain Taigetos and the Rintomou Gorge . And at only two kilometres from Santova Beach and a 20 minute drive from the picturesque village of Kardamylli this is the perfect location for an exceptional holiday.
With its cool, stone built interior, the hotel itself was once a fortified mansion dating back to 1858. It has been designated by the Greek Ministry of Culture as ‘a work of art’ and a historical monument of extreme importance - an excellent example of post revolution residence in north Mani.
Since then it has been thoughtfully converted into a luxury boutique hotel, by the Vager Family who offer the warmest of welcomes – from their delicious home cooked breakfasts to the sheer beauty of each of the hotel’s four large suites ( ideal for couples and families alike ).
The breakfast at Villa Vager Mani is an experience in itself. They pair the abundance of tastes and aromas of Mani with the values of simplicity, clarity and purity.
For those who like an adventure holiday there`s an abundance of activities including sea kayaking, sup, river trekking, rafting, cycling, canoeing, scuba diving, jet skiing, pedal boats, water skiing, a full or half day cruise on a pirate ship, hiking, as well as wall climbing, rock climbing and mountaineering.
